Goldwing GL1000 75 to 79 SW Fork tube Front fork pipe 51410-431-671

The tube is interchangeable with 75 through 79. The part number on the lower pipe is different, but the lower pipe from the 75 is the same lenght and characteristics as the 79.The preamble: I have parted 142 GL1000, or a potential of 284 tubes, about one half of them 75-77, and the other half 78-79. Of those I kept only 28 tubes. I've sold a few tubes over the years, on request, but never did a concerted effort to assess them very closely, remove the tubes, and check them closely. Of the 18 tubes kept in storage, 11 were 75 to 77, 7 were 78-79. The tubes listed are the result of minute examination after dissassemly. These listed are priced as to the ultimate quality of them. NONE of them have pits on the travel area. Some have pits on the area around the triple trees, which is certainly typical for the age. Some have wear to varying degrees on the bottom end of the leg, but I eliminated any that I considered to have excessive wear on the lower end even if the travel area was clean. This tube: Clean travel area, with wear on the bottom leg, more that SW3006, but not excessive.

It is a very expensive and time-costly effort for us to help all *Goldwingers* to obtain often-rare parts when you are in the USA, but as well to be fair to all the buyers in outside the USA who are not subjected to that tariff/tax: but I will NOT desert my USA clients. While the tariffs are most unfortunate between neighbours, the parts we sell are still great parts, properly assessed, at the fairest price possible.
