This surround was placed on my 1800 in 2009 for 1 season. Sold the bike, kept the surround, it's been in storage since 2010. The side rails were never mounted and are new. The hardware for them is attached to the side rails. There may be minor fasteners missing, but they are standard sizes, easily replaced. There is some micro-pitting on the inside of the rear rail on welds, and tarnish on the very ends of the rear section of the surround. Leave as is, or use redneck chrome tape or paint with either aluminum paint or black paint to contrast. The price is right. This was a $260 top-of-the-line set.
