Goldwing GL1800 '01 to '10 FORK ASSY., R. FR. Complete 51400-MCA-003

It has been 15 years since I have seen a set of forks in this quality of condition for a first gen GL1800 or 1800A. Tubes? Yes. Lower legs (cases), no. These are excellent. This RIGHT complete assembly is not perfect, but they are low-mile at 49.8k miles, clean and show no peeling or oxidization, with perhaps minute spots of road tar I may have missed cleaning off. They came from a 2005 trailer-queen that went down due to body part cost, at 49.8k miles. The travel area is good. Obviously treated and stored properly. The front end was recently overhauled, because it shows signs of the proper buffing of the travel area. I do not know how long since that was done, hence I don't know how old the fluid is, but at this point this is a pop 'n drop unit, showing no signs of problems. It's mate, the left side is in another listing. Buy them both, get a very, very good used set, and a 20% cost savings. NOTE: there is very little difference between this and all later models, the primary difference being the inclusion of an added washer-spacer in 2006. I know these will fit and accept all parts, as I have a 2014 (custom factory powder-coated) front wheel on my 2003 GL1800, and have used that wheel on my 2007 as well. You would be well advised to buy both fork assemblies for 2012 and later years simply to have matching sides, but earlier than that these will work properly.
